File a food so you can find it again

When you add or edit an ingredient, pick a Type and a Sub-Type, then give it your own name. It reads back as Candy - Chocolate - M&Ms Peanut. Your ingredient list sorts by type, then sub-type, then name, so everything of one kind sits together. Neither box is required, and anything you added before this stays exactly as it was.
