Food and nutrition
Know what is in what you eat.
Log a meal in your own words or in full detail. You can also take pictures of your food (meals and food packaging) and nutrition labels. We read the nutrition labels to update the nutrition information, and you check it before it saves. Tell myMemios what you avoid and what you prefer.
- Log food. What you ate, in your own words or in full detail.

- Ingredient ratings. How an ingredient rates against how you eat.
- How you eat. What you avoid and what you prefer.
Dietary types
Tell myMemios how you eat.
Choose every type that applies. Every food you log is rated against your own diet and allergies. General guidance, not medical advice. If you are in treatment, managing a condition, or taking medication, check with your care team before changing how you eat.
- Eating patterns. Vegetarian, vegan, pescatarian, Mediterranean, DASH (heart-healthy), keto (very low carb), paleo, Whole30, low carb, low fat, low sodium, low or no added sugar, diabetic-friendly (low glycemic), low-FODMAP and anti-inflammatory.
- General preferences. Whole foods, organic and healthy.
- Allergies and intolerances. Gluten-free, wheat-free, dairy-free, lactose-free, egg-free, soy-free, corn-free, peanut-free, tree nut-free, shellfish-free, fish-free, sesame-free, sulfite-free and nightshade-free.
- Foods you avoid. No pork, no beef, no red meat, no poultry, no alcohol and no caffeine.
- Religious and cultural. Kosher and halal.
- Blood type diets. Type O, Type A, Type B and Type AB. They are here because members ask for them. The evidence does not support them, and each one says so.
- A guide for each type. Tap the i beside a type to see what it is, what to eat, what is fine in moderation and what to avoid, with a note where safety or the evidence matters.
Goals
Set a goal. See how close you are.
Every goal has one live number, and you choose where it comes from. Your Dashboard, the Food page and your graphs all use it. Every recommendation names its source.
- Goals. Targets, and how close you are to them.
- Where your number comes from. Use the Memios Recommendation, calculated from your profile and the published research. Use a Coach's Recommendation, set by your Memios specialist. Type your own number. Or switch the goal off.
- Body composition. Body fat, lean body mass, waist and weight.
- Fitness and activity. Exercise minutes, steps and Cardio Fitness.
- Sleep and recovery. Sleep, as a healthy range, so a ten-hour night is not counted as a win.
- Macronutrients. Calories, carbohydrate, fat, saturated fat, fiber, protein, sodium and added sugar.
- Micronutrients. Calcium, iron, magnesium, potassium, vitamin A, vitamin B12, vitamin C, vitamin D and zinc.
- How you track. Your Dashboard shows each goal, today's value and how far you have to go. A small line under each goal says where today's value came from and when.
- On your graphs. Your goal shows on your history graphs: a dashed line for steps and Cardio Fitness, and a shaded band for sleep.
- Food against your goals. Food, Today shows your nutrition totals, by meal, against the goals you have switched on.
