Memios
Answers to the questions we get most, and step-by-step guides for everything else. If you cannot find what you need, write to us and a person will reply.
myMemios holds your health in one place. You take the scores, you get a plan, and you track what you actually do. Everything you enter is yours, and you can download all of it from Account.
Open Scores on the dashboard, then Base Score. It asks about your health, your movement and your history, then builds your plan from your answers. Retake it any time, and once a month it asks you to refresh it.
Inside Scores on Home. Tap Scores, and it is the second card, under the Return to Wellness Score™.
The Score is a full picture of what affects your health today, with a private report you own. Buy it once from the store. It does not diagnose and it does not replace your doctor. Open Scores on the dashboard and it is at the top.
Goals is a card on Home, one tap from where you start. The bar at the bottom holds Home, the Longevity Letter, Offers and Account.
Scores also lists every measure we take, grouped the way your body works: endurance, strength, flexibility, mobility and gait, balance, nutrition status, body composition, cognition, mood and body region. Tap a group to see what is in it.
Account, then Your health record, then Allergies. Conditions are in the same place, along with your medicines, supplements, measurements and symptoms.
Facts about your body live in the health record. How you like to eat is under Preferences, and your home screen is a setting in Account.
What's Next is at the very top, then Check-in, which opens how you feel, your symptoms, weight, sleep, water and gut on one page. Then Today, which is everything happening today in one list, and Add food. The square tiles below come in four groups: From Memios™, Your account and results, What you build, and What you do.
Open Account, then Sign in by text, and add your US mobile number with the code we text you. After that, tap Text me a code instead on the sign-in screen. Your email sign-in keeps working.
The bar at the bottom has four things. Home is your day. Letter is The Longevity Letter. Offers is the store. Account holds your profile, units, privacy, and your health record.
Home is built as cards. What's Next is at the very top, then Check-in, then Today and Add food. Below them are the square tiles, in four groups: From Memios™, Your account and results, What you build, and What you do. Every screen has a Dashboard link at the top that brings you back.
The first card on Home. Tap it to see today in four parts: Movement, Nutrition, Mindfulness and Habits. It shows your VO2 max and today's workouts, what is left of each food goal, the mind and body activities on your day, and what research says about building a habit.
The first card on Home. Tap it to see today in four parts. Movement has your VO2 max and today's workouts. Nutrition has what is left of each food goal. Mindfulness has the mind and body activities on your day. Habits has what research says about building a habit, with the evidence for each point.
Tap Dashboard at the top of any screen.
Tap Check-in, just under What's Next. It asks two things: how you feel, and your energy. Underneath are five cards of their own, one each for symptoms, weight, sleep, water and your gut. Weight, Sleep and Gut Microbiome show your last entry, and a tap opens the screen where you log it. Each one keeps what you log the moment you log it, so you do not have to press Save check-in for them. It all takes under a minute and everything shows up in your trends.
A plan does not always say what time to do something. When it does not, we put it in Morning so it has a place in your day rather than sitting in a list of its own. Anything with a time keeps that time.
On the plan screen. Open What's Next and tap Your whole plan, and it is at the top, with what each plan contains. You can also choose in Movement on What's Next. We remember which one you pick.
Home, then Gut Microbiome. Record each bowel movement and what it was like, plus bloating, gas, straining and urgency. See your week beside what you ate and took, with flags where the research records a link.
Account, then Preferences, then What you do. Tick what you can get to and what you already do. Two toggles run the list: Hide what I cannot get to, and Show everything, including what I cannot get to. Nothing is hidden for good.
No. The alarm reads what you wrote, including the negatives: gluten free, dairy free, no nuts, without egg and non-dairy all mean the thing is not there. It still warns you if you name the thing again somewhere else, so "gluten free pizza and a side of gluten crackers" is still flagged. It reads what you wrote and does not work out what is in a dish, so name anything you need us to see.
Your allergies, your conditions, your medicines, your supplements, your symptoms, how you eat and your health record are on every plan, including the free one. Anything that keeps you safe is never behind a padlock, whatever plan you are on.
Because you filed it that way. When you add or edit an ingredient you pick a Type and a Sub-Type, then give it your own name, and the three read together. Both boxes are optional.
It comes with a different Reclaim™ plan. Tap it and we tell you what it is, which plan includes it, and offer to upgrade you. What you have recorded stays yours, and everything about your health record is on every plan including the free one.
It is saved and it counts. Tap Add the detail on it and you will see it as you logged it, your photo and your words, with the nutrition empty. It is empty because a description does not carry any nutrition and we will not invent it. Find the food and the numbers fill in, and your own words stay.
Tap Upgrade now on any padlock, or open Offers. Choose your plan, pay through Stripe, and it opens straight away. Any credit on your account comes off automatically.
Yes. Open one of your own and tap Share with other members. Your copy stays yours. What you share is a snapshot, marked so other people can see it came from a member and not from the USDA database. Somebody at Memios™ reads every submission before it reaches anyone.
Your food sits inside Today on Home, in the part of the day you ate it, beside your walk and your medicines. It carries your own words and the meal it belongs to. There is no tick on it, because you have already eaten it.
No. After an import we list anything that matches, and ask. Say yes and the planned activity is ticked off and filled in from your watch, so your day counts it once instead of twice. Say no and nothing changes.
Write gluten free pizza and you get no gluten warning. Dairy free, no nuts, without egg and non-dairy all work the same way. If any other part of what you wrote still mentions the thing you avoid, you are still warned.
Yes. Open Reports and tap Choose what shows beside Trends. Tick the measures you want and tap Save. Each one gets a chart of the last 3 months. Tap it for the full history.
Under everything you log is a line reading Recorded today at 7:30 AM. Tap it to change the date and the time. Log your morning walk at nine at night and set the time back, and it counts as a morning walk.
The cross skips it for one day only. To remove it from every day, tap the pencil beside it, then tap Delete and confirm. Anything you already logged stays in your history.
One product often holds several things. Kirkland Turmeric is turmeric and black pepper. Open the supplement, use What is in it, and add a row for each. There is no limit. For a long panel, tap Paste the label and paste the whole thing.
Yes. Open the day on your schedule and tap the activity's name. Your Apple Health workouts from that day show under it. Tap Use these details and the activity takes your watch's minutes, distance and start time.
Small packages print a shorter panel: Vit D (6% DV) and no milligrams anywhere. Type the percentage in the %DV box and we work out the amount, and tell you how wide the rounding makes it.
That feature comes with a different Reclaim™ plan. We show it rather than hiding it, so you can see what is there. Tap it and we tell you what it does, which plan includes it, and offer to upgrade you. Anything that keeps you safe is never behind a padlock: your allergies, conditions, medicines, supplements, symptoms, how you eat and your health record are on every plan, including the free one.
Tap Add food on your home screen. Type what you ate or drank in your own words and take a picture. We put it in the right part of your day from the time. The nutrition can wait: open it again when you are home and add the detail, and it goes onto the same entry.
Tap the name of the activity. The boxes that open suit that activity: sets, reps and weight for a bench press, distance and time for a walk. Set the date and time underneath if it happened earlier, then tap Log it.
Lists are sorted by type and then by name, so everything of one kind sits together. The types start at Strength and Aerobic because that is where most plans start, rather than running alphabetically from Aerobic to Recovery. Each type has its own icon.
On the same screen, search your saved recipes and ingredients and tap to add them. Set the amount on each, add as many as you like, and remove any of them with the bin. Those carry their real numbers and count toward your day straight away.
Inside Today on your home screen, in the part of the day you ate it, listed with everything else happening that day. It shows the words you used and the meal it belongs to. Tap Add the detail on any entry to fill in the nutrition later.
Tap any supplement or medicine and it opens. A short TLDR at the top gives the most important facts. Below it, each ingredient shows what goes wrong first, then what the studies support and what they tested and did not find, with the kind of study, how many people and the words from the source. Tap any ingredient name for what it is, what it does, whether it is good or bad, which foods have it and how to test for it. We do not tell you what dose to take, we show you what the bodies publish and what the trials used.
Because you have already eaten it. Everything else in Today is something to do, so it has a tick and a skip. Food is a record of what happened, so it sits in its place in the day and asks nothing of you.
When you add or edit an ingredient, check the numbers against the package in your hand. Makers change recipes without changing the barcode, and the food databases we read are either a dated snapshot or typed in by other shoppers. Your saved version is the one we count.
Account, then Your health record, then Conditions. Say what you were told, in your own words. Once we recognise it, a stage box appears worded the way your condition words it: cancer has a stage, kidney disease has G1 to G5, heart failure has a class, COPD has a grade, and diabetes has a type. Most conditions are not staged and show no box at all. You can also record the doctor, the hospital, how it was confirmed, what is being done, your next follow-up, and a picture of the report. We never work a stage out ourselves.
Today places things by the clock, not by the name of the meal. If you ate at nine at night, that is Bed Time, and the row still says Dinner. It sits where you actually were rather than where dinner usually is.
Tap Your record on the check-in card, or open Reports and then Your check-in record. Every day you reported is listed newest first. Tap a day to see what you said, the symptoms you logged and the time of each, and your water for that day.
It is part of myMemios™ that comes with a different Reclaim™ plan. We show it rather than hiding it, so you can see what is there. Tap it and we tell you what it does, which plan includes it, and offer to upgrade you.
The opposite. Your allergies, your conditions, your medicines and supplements, how you eat, the symptoms you track and your health record are on every plan including the free one, and always will be. Those are how myMemios keeps you safe, and safety is not something we sell.
When you add or edit an ingredient, pick a Type and a Sub-Type, then give it your own name. It reads back as Candy - Chocolate - M&Ms Peanut. Your ingredient list sorts by type, then sub-type, then name, so everything of one kind sits together. Neither box is required.
Tap Upgrade now on any padlock, or open Offers from your dashboard, and choose your plan. Payment goes through Stripe and your plan changes as soon as it clears. If checkout will not open, email support@memios.ai and a person will sort it out with you.
Tap Add the detail on anything you logged in your own words. You see what you logged, your photo and your words, with the nutrition shown empty because a description does not carry any and we will not guess. From there you can find the food, which fills the numbers in and keeps your words, or say it was made of several things and build it as a recipe.
Money we have put on your account, to say thank you, to put something right, or because you raised something fair with us. It comes off your next payment automatically. There is nothing to claim and no code to type, and we email you when it happens with the amount and the reason.
Open one of your own ingredients and tap Share with other members. Your copy stays yours and stays editable. What you share is a snapshot, marked so other members can see it came from a member rather than from the USDA database. Somebody reads every submission before it goes anywhere.
It waits on your account and comes off the first thing you buy. Nothing expires.
After an Apple Health import, anything your watch recorded that matches something on your plan is listed for you. Say yes and the planned activity is ticked off and filled in from your watch, so your day counts it once instead of twice. Say no and nothing changes. Nothing is applied unless you say so.
Yes. Reports, then Your check-in record. Every day you reported anything is listed newest first. Tap a day to open it and see how you felt, your energy, your weight, your sleep, the symptoms you logged with the time of each, and your water for that day. It gathers all of them, whichever card each one came from. The card at the top counts your check-ins, your current run of consecutive days, and how many of the last 30 days you checked in. You can copy or email the whole record from that screen.
Activity lists are sorted by type and then by name, and each one carries the icon for its type. A jog reads Aerobic: Jogging, a bench press reads Strength: Bench press. The types run Strength, Aerobic, Interval, Power, Balance, Flexibility, Mind and body, Mind and spirit, Water, Sport, Outdoors, Everyday, Recovery.
No. A check-in is the card on Home. A day where you only logged water still appears in your record, marked no check-in, because it is part of your history. It does not count toward your streak. A streak that counts days you did not check in is not telling you anything.
Open the schedule from Today and you see the same day: your plan, anything you scheduled, and what you ate. Under anything not yet ticked is "Log it as", which is the time that will be recorded when you tick it. Change it first if you did the thing earlier.
Check your spam or promotions folder. Wait a minute and try again. Make sure you typed the email you used to join.
Tap the name of anything on Today or on your Schedule and the boxes for it open: minutes and distance for a walk, sets, reps and weight for a bench press. Fill them in and tick it off. Already ticked it? Tap the name, type the numbers and choose Save these. The pencil beside the name changes the schedule instead.
Open the link on the same device and browser where you asked for it. Or ask for a new link in the browser you want to use.
Activity, then Memios library. It opens as a list of all 13 categories, each showing how many activities it holds. Tap the arrow beside one to open it and see every activity in it. Open as many as you like at once. The search box above searches every category at once, and shows you only the categories that matched, already open. There are 322 activities in total.
Tap the name of any activity. The boxes that open suit that activity: sets, reps and weight for a bench press, distance and time for a walk, how long you held it for a stretch. Set the date and time underneath if you are recording something from earlier, then tap Log it.
Yes, once your mobile number is on your account. Sign in by email, open Account → Sign in by text, and add your number with the code we text you. Then tap Text me a code instead on the sign-in screen.
Weight has its own card under the check-in. Type today's number and tap Log. It saves straight away, with no Save check-in to press. The box starts empty on purpose, so Tuesday's number is never recorded as today's, and your last reading is shown above it instead.
Text sign-in only opens an account that already has your number. Sign in with your email link, open Account → Sign in by text, and add the number. Then try the text again.
Sleep has its own card under the check-in. Put in hours and minutes and tap Log. What that adds up to is shown underneath, so you can see you typed what you meant.
Wait a minute, then tap Send a new code. Check that you typed a US mobile number. If texts still do not arrive, sign in by email.
Symptoms have their own card under the check-in, with the ones you follow listed on it. Tap a name to get a 0 to 10 scale and one more question that suits it, then tap Log it. Tap Track a symptom to follow something new.
Not yet. Text sign-in works with US mobile numbers. Sign in by email from anywhere.
Yes. Open Account → Profile → Measurement units. Every number switches.
Water has its own card under the check-in. One tap logs 8 oz. Tap Other amount for a different pour. The bar shows the day against your target.
Home shows VO2 max first, then the tiles you choose under Choose. Tap any tile for its full history. Steps and sleep show one bar per day.
Open Account → Send feedback. Say what happened, add up to three screenshots, and tap Send. It reaches the Memios team as a priority email, and we reply by email when we need to know more.
The Today card holds everything for today in one list, sorted by time of day. What your plan asks of you sits in it alongside your food, supplements, medicines and appointments. A workout with no time set lands in Morning.
No. They come to us by email and are not stored in the app. A screenshot can show your health information, so crop out anything you would rather we did not see.
No. Every answer saves as you go. Leave at any question and pick up on any device.
Open What's Next and tap Your whole plan. It holds your exercise plan and your nutrition plan, built from your most recent scores. Move between Exercise and Nutrition at the top, and between days underneath.
No. Your purchase is used only when you choose See my Report.
Food, then Ingredients, then Add Ingredient. Give it a name and the brand if it has one. The nutrition boxes are laid out the way a food label prints them: Total Fat with Saturated and Trans underneath, then Cholesterol, Sodium, Total Carbohydrate with Dietary Fiber, Total Sugars and Added Sugars underneath, then Protein. Vitamins and minerals are below that, and you can add them from the package if we do not hold them. Leave a box empty if you do not know it. Empty is not zero. Saving takes you back to My Ingredients.
A year, or "about", is fine. You can also choose I don't know or Skip for now.
Food, then Ingredients, then Search Foods. Search the USDA and Open Food Facts database, or scan a barcode. Tap the star to keep it in My Ingredients.
So you never type them twice. We show what we have, with where it came from, and you confirm or update it.
Food, then Recipes, then Build. Add ingredients and other recipes, set the yield, and the nutrition adds up as you go.
Yes. A helper stands beside you, times the walk and counts your stands. If you have no helper, skip the tests. Your Report still shows everything else.
Your own ingredients and recipes are yours to edit. A Memios one stays as it is, so tap Copy and edit and you get your own version to change.
No. It does not diagnose and does not give medical advice. It tells you where to go next and gives you a page to take to your doctor.
Tap Log on any ingredient or recipe. Choose the amount, the unit, the meal and the time. Today's totals update straight away.
Open Steps, choose Day and pick the date. Where this day's total comes from shows each source. Compare Counted once with the Health app. If they differ by more than a few hundred, tell us which day.
Supplements and Medicine each hold your own list. Add what you take with the brand, the amount and the form, and photograph the label if it helps.
Tap Log on anything in your list to record that you took it.
Open the supplement and use What is in it. Add a row for each thing on the label, with its amount and unit. There is no limit. Kirkland Turmeric, for example, is turmeric 500 mg and black pepper extract 5 mg, and both belong in the record because the black pepper is there to change how the turmeric is absorbed. Rows stay in the order you enter them, which is the order the label prints them.
No. Tap Paste the label, paste the Supplement Facts or the ingredient list, and we read it. One per line, or a blend separated by commas. We show you what we read before anything is applied, so you can check it first.
Tap any medicine in your list. An FDA boxed warning comes first, then what it is, what goes wrong, what it is named with and what happens when you stop. Every claim quotes its source.
Daily Value. It is the FDA's reference amount of a nutrient for one day, for the general population aged four and over, and %DV is what one serving gives as a share of that. It is a labelling reference, not a personal target. It does not adjust for your age, your sex, pregnancy or any condition, and we will never tell you to hit 100% of one.
The Taken together card on Medications and Supplements lists pairs of things you take that the research names together, with the source. Ask your prescriber or pharmacist before you change anything.
Type it in the %DV box next to the nutrient and we work out the amount. Small packages are allowed to print a shorter panel that gives vitamin D, calcium, iron and potassium as percentages only, with no milligram figure anywhere on the wrapper. Six percent of the 20 mcg vitamin D Daily Value is 1.2 mcg.
We also tell you how exact that is. Labels round to a whole percent, so a printed 6% came from anywhere between 5.5% and 6.4% and the real figure sits between 1.1 and 1.3 mcg. We show that range rather than pretending 1.2 is what the manufacturer printed.
Tap Fasting on Home, then Start a fast or mark a fast day. Choose the type and the target, and the card counts the hours. A fast of 48 hours or more asks you to confirm your clinician agreed.
Because the FDA has not published a Daily Value for them. CoQ10, boron and benfotiamine are examples, and their labels print a dagger for the same reason. Without a reference there is nothing to convert, and we would rather say so than invent one.
Every type of fasting, why people choose it, what goes wrong and who should be careful, with the studies behind each point.
Health record, then Conditions, then open the condition. The stage box appears once we recognise what you have. For melanoma you can also record the Breslow thickness and whether there was ulceration, both of which are on your pathology report.
Tap Exclusions on Home. Choose what to take out and which symptoms to track. Rate them from 0 to 10 each day, add things back one at a time, and read Your progress.
No. Most conditions are not staged. Cancer uses stages 0 to IV, kidney disease uses G1 to G5, heart failure uses a class from I to IV, and COPD uses a grade from 1 to 4. Diabetes is not staged at all, so we ask for the type instead. Rather than show you an empty box for a condition that has no stage, we do not show one.
Tap Habits on Home. Add a habit to build or a habit to stop, and mark it once a day.
Record what you did and for how long. Your weekly totals count toward 150 minutes of moderate activity and two days of strength work, which is what the guidelines ask for.
No, and we will not. Staging is done by a clinician who has examined you and read your results. We record what you were told, in the words your report uses. If you were not told, or cannot remember, choose that option and leave it.
Seventy-five vigorous minutes meet the same weekly target as 150 moderate ones, which is how the guidelines count it.
Yes. Open the condition and use A picture of the report. It stays private to you unless you choose to share it, and it is often easier to find than the exact wording months later.
Account, then Health data. Import your Apple Health export and your steps, heart rate, sleep and workouts come across with their history.
Yes. Each condition holds the doctor, their specialty, the hospital or practice, and a phone number, along with how the condition was confirmed, what is being done about it with dates, and when your next follow-up is due.
The Check-in page lists the symptoms you follow. Tap Track a symptom to open the tracker, where the ones you star sit at the top and search finds the rest. Each symptom asks the 0 to 10 scale and one more question that suits it, and every entry carries a date and a time you can change. Saving brings you back to the tracker. Warning signs are marked, with who to contact and how fast.
Tap Add food on your home screen, type what you had in your own words, and take a picture. A salmon sandwich on a gluten free bun with a side of french fries is a perfectly good entry. So is a 3 egg omelet with bacon and cheddar cheese. Something beats nothing.
On the same screen you can search your own recipes and ingredients and tap to add them, as many as you like, with an amount on each. Those carry real numbers and count toward your day. What you only describe in words does not, and your day's total says so.
Goals is a tile on Home. Tap it for the full screen. Each target says where the number comes from, and you can set your own instead.
No. We keep your words and your photo, and we leave the nutrition empty. A guessed number would go into your trends and eventually into a report your doctor reads, with nothing on it saying a machine invented it. Your day's total tells you when it is missing items, so you always know whether you are looking at the whole day.
Reports shows your trends over time and what has moved. Share or export from there when you want to show someone.
Yes, and that is the point. Take the picture at the table and add the nutrition when you get home. Open the entry, add the detail, and it is added to the same entry. Your words and your photo stay, the numbers arrive, and it starts counting toward your day. You never end up with the same meal logged twice.
Record anything you react to: food, medicine, pollen, insect stings, latex, and reactions set off by exercise or cold. Account, then Your health record, then Allergies. Say how bad it gets and what happens, or just the name and come back later.
No clinic needed. There are two flexibility measures you can do at home: the chair sit-and-reach for your lower body and the back scratch for your shoulders. Both are in your Score, under the movement questions, and both are only offered once you have told us you have a helper nearby, a sturdy chair against a wall, a counter within reach and no dizziness.
If you are seeing a clinician, they have their own versions of the same two tests with proper equipment. Those live in the clinical assessment.
We report what you measured. We do not band it against a percentile table, because the tables that would let us do that are in a manual we do not hold, and inventing a comparison would be worse than not offering one.
Log or scan something that matches an allergy you recorded and the screen stops and names it. If we cannot read a label well enough to be sure, we say that instead of staying quiet. We never stop you logging anything.
Tap the Weight card on Home, under the check-in. It opens your weight history, with the box to log today's weight at the top. Weight, sleep, symptoms, water and your gut each have their own card, and each keeps what you log the moment you log it. Save check-in records how you feel and your energy.
Record a pistachio allergy and we tell you about cashew, with the figure from the research. The same for a penicillin allergy and the medicines in its family.
The card states your last reading and when it was taken, above the box. The box is empty so that pressing Log never records a number from Tuesday as today's. A weight chart is only worth reading if every point on it is a day somebody actually stood on a scale.
Record what a doctor has told you that you have, where it stands now, who told you and when. Account, then Your health record, then Conditions. We do not diagnose and we do not interpret a condition.
Yes, on everything. Under each thing you log is a line reading Recorded today at 7:30 AM. Tap it and the date and the time open for editing. This matters more than it sounds: if you walk in the morning and log it at nine at night, an unchanged time tells your trends that you walk at night.
The doctors treating you and how to reach them. A surname is enough to save one. Tick the second box on anyone who could make medical decisions for you if you could not speak for yourself. That is the first thing a hospital asks and almost no app records it.
The card shows your newest weight from any source. If your scale sent a reading to Apple Health this morning, that is the newest.
No. Correct or hide it in Recent days. Corrections are kept apart from imported data.
What was done, in your own words. Which side, because that is what a surgeon asks first. A year on its own is a real date here. Type 2014 and we record 2014.
Yes, for now. Export from the Health app and import again. Readings are never added twice.
There is no national vaccination register in this country, so this list is yours. Not sure is a real answer and we record it as one. For a vaccine that comes as a course, like shingles at two doses, we ask how many you have had and say Series not complete if there are more to go. Leave it blank if you do not know. Where you got it is what lets a pharmacy find the record again later. We never ask for a lot number.
The fitness questions estimate it from an equation. Your Apple Watch measures it during outdoor walks, runs and hikes. Once you import, the watch reading shows on your dashboard.
At the bottom of your health record. Your whole history on one page, in the order a doctor reads it: allergies, who can decide for you, everything you take, your conditions, surgeries and vaccines. Medicines and supplements come as one list, because a supplement can clash with a medicine and a separate list is how one gets missed. You tick what goes in, and anything you leave out is named back to you before you print.
No reading was recorded that day, or you hid that day.
Account, then Preferences, then What you do. Tick the places and equipment you can actually reach. We will never suggest something you have not ticked, so no pool means no swimming. A second list asks what you already do, and that only changes the order. At home with no equipment is always on.
Open the goal and read Where this comes from. Every recommendation names its research source.
Open What's Next and tap Your whole plan. At the top of that screen you choose which plan you follow: System Plan, Coach's Plan or Custom Plan, each with what is in it. We remember your choice, so it is what you see next time. A coach's plan comes forward when they write it and whenever they revise it, and you can switch back after. Whichever you follow, a workout looks the same in your day.
We have no reading for that measure yet. Add one in Measurements, or import Apple Health.
Account, then Your data. Download everything as a file, or ask us to delete your account.
Yes. Your specialist can set a Coach's Recommendation. You choose which number is live.
We count how often each screen and each button is used, so we can find what is hard to use. What is stored is the name of the button, the date and a number. No name, no account and no health information. Chapter 16 of the User Guide sets out every field.
You decide what is shared and with whom, and you can stop sharing at any time.
Makers change recipes and serving sizes without changing the barcode. The USDA copy we hold is a snapshot taken on a date, not a live feed. Open Food Facts fills the gaps and is typed in by shoppers, not verified.
Food databases publish nutrition per 100 grams, and we convert that to the serving on the package. If a saved ingredient reads check the serving in My Ingredients, its numbers are for 100 grams. Open it to see the figures for your serving and correct it in one tap.
The label itself rounds. Calories go to the nearest five or ten, fat to half a gram, and sodium under 5 mg prints as 0, so an exact match is not always possible.
Always check a scanned food against the package and save your own version. Yours is the one we count.
It conflicts with a diet you follow or matches an allergy. Tap the chip to see why and find alternatives.
Account, then Send feedback. Report a problem or ask for a feature, and add a screenshot if it helps. It reaches the Memios team straight away.
We could not identify all its ingredients. If you have an allergy, check the label yourself.
Nothing here replaces your doctor. If something is wrong, contact your care team. For anything about the app, email support@memios.ai and a person answers.
You can edit it and save your own copy, or use your change just this once. The original stays as it is.
In Gut Microbiome. Tap the Gut Microbiome card on Home, then tap Add a bowel movement, choose what it was like, and tap Save. On a day with none, tap None today, then Save.
In Gut Microbiome, tap Change, tap the bowel movement, change What time was it?, and tap Save. When you add one, set the time before you choose what it was like.
Our research library records it as causing constipation or diarrhea in some people, and the flag shows the finding and its source. It is not a diagnosis and does not mean it is the cause of yours. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before you stop or change any medicine.
Either the research we have read does not record it as causing constipation or diarrhea, or it is not in our library yet. We add more every week.
Tap any supplement or medicine and it opens. A TLDR box comes first with the most important facts, taken from the full write-up below it. You get everything recorded on its label, and each ingredient opens into what it is, what it does, how much the guidelines and the trials talk about, what to watch for, what it interacts with, and the sources, quoted so you can check them.
We do not tell you what dose to take. You get three separate figures instead: the reference intake a named body publishes, the level where harm becomes the question, and the doses trials actually used. What is right for you is a conversation with your clinician, and a number from us aimed at you personally would be medical advice.
If an ingredient has not been written up yet, it says so rather than showing you an empty section.
Tap Fasting on Home and read the types. Each one says why people choose it, what goes wrong and who should be careful, with the studies behind it. Talk to your clinician before you start, especially if you take medicines.
A fast of 48 hours or more carries more risk, and more still for people taking insulin, a sulfonylurea or blood pressure medicines. The app asks you to confirm your clinician agreed before it starts one.
Use the Exclusion Tracker. Take the food out, rate your symptoms each day, then add it back and watch the report. It shows what went up or down and when, not why, so talk to your doctor before you draw a conclusion. Talk to your doctor before you cut out a whole food group.
Only if the person who prescribed it agreed. Stopping some medicines suddenly can harm you, so the app asks you to confirm that first.
Yes, against the research we hold. The Taken together card on Medications and on Supplements lists each pair of things you take that a source names together, with what it says and a link. It checks only medicines that are written up, and says how many of yours that covers. A pair that is not listed is not proof it is safe. Ask your prescriber or pharmacist before you change anything.
The strongest warning the FDA puts on a drug label. When a medicine has one, it is the first thing you see when you open it, copied word for word from the label.
Yes. Open the product and tap the ingredient's name. Its page answers what it is, what it does, whether it is good or bad for you, how to get more or less of it, why someone might be missing it, which foods have it, what happens without it, and how to test for it. Each answer names the study it comes from.
Because a trial that looked for a benefit and did not find one is information you can use. A write-up that only lists what might help is advertising. Every ingredient we write up has to show what the studies support, what they tested and did not find, and what goes wrong. If one of those is missing, it does not reach the app.
We read the studies themselves. An agency or a professional society is recorded with who said it and when, in its own section, next to the research. Where an agency and the studies disagree, you see both. Agencies are useful witnesses. They are not the evidence.
No. Tap Stopped. It stays in your record with the date, which your doctor may need.
myMemios shows who to contact and how fast. It does not contact anyone for you. If it is an emergency, call 911.
Fixed. Today was showing your plan as well as your schedules, and the Schedule screen was showing only what you had scheduled yourself. Both now show the same day. Nothing was ever missing.
Tap its name on Today or on the Schedule and the boxes open: minutes and distance for a walk, sets, reps and weight for a bench press, sets and hold time for a stretch. Fill them in, then tick it off, and it is logged with those numbers. The pencil beside the name is a different thing. That changes the schedule.
Yes. Tap the name, type what you did, and choose Save these. It updates the entry you already have rather than recording it twice.
The time you set under Log it as. If an entry shows the wrong time, tap its Recorded line and correct it.
Because we only ask for what something is actually measured in. A walk has minutes and distance. "Add a palm of protein at breakfast" has nothing to type, so it is a tick and nothing else. We would rather ask nothing than ask you for sets and reps on a walk.
It is the time that will be recorded when you tick the item off, and you can change it before you tick. It only appears on things you have not done yet.
Activity, then Memios library. It opens as a list of all 13 categories with the number each one holds. Tap the arrow beside a category to open it and see every activity in it. Open as many as you like at once. To search instead, type a word in the box above and it searches every category at once.
One list of every activity that matched, with a line saying how many were found. Each row names its category, as in Recovery: Vibration plate squats. Clear the box to see every category again.
At the top of Today on Home, tap Custom Plan. Then tap Open the schedule and add your workouts. Today shows only what you scheduled. Tap System Plan to switch back.
Yes. Your Base Score and your Base Plan, the personalized 7-day plan built from your first assessment, come with every plan, including Reclaim Free.
Tap its name, or About this activity, in the Memios library. In My activities, tap About. You see what it is, when to stop and get help, what to check first if you have a condition, what can go wrong, the steps, how to start, a note for older adults, and what it does for you. Each benefit and risk shows how strong the evidence is and links to its sources.
322, across Strength, Aerobic, Interval, Power, Balance, Flexibility, Mind and body, Mind and spirit, Water, Sport, Outdoors, Everyday and Recovery. Strength is the largest at 125.
No. An open category shows everything in it. If you have told us what you can get to, the ones you cannot reach are hidden until you tap Show everything, and the screen says how many are hidden and why.
Not yet. Search for the closest match, and use the notes field to describe it in your own words.
You have an allergy recorded and something in that food matched it. We name what matched. Tap through if you want it logged anyway. We tell you, we do not stop you.
We could not read the ingredient list well enough to be sure. That is not the same as it being safe, so we say so rather than staying quiet. It happens with a food that has no ingredient list saved, or a label that says it may contain something it does not list.
Some things react together. Cashew and pistachio, penicillin and the medicines in its family, latex and banana. We show you the figure from the research and name which allergy of yours it relates to.
Tell us by taking that allergy off your list, or by changing its name to something more exact. We try hard not to cry wolf. Buckwheat is not wheat and eggplant is not egg. A word can still match in a way we did not expect.
No. The name alone still warns you. Saying how bad it gets and what happens changes how loudly we warn you: an allergy that has needed urgent care stops the screen rather than showing a note.
No. We record what your doctor told you and show it back to you. We do not diagnose, we do not interpret a condition, and nothing you record there changes what the app suggests you do.
Because you should not have to know one. Describe your condition in whatever words your doctor used. We match it behind the scenes so the record means something to your care team.
Account, then Open your health record, then Take this to your doctor at the bottom. It lays your history out on one page in the order a doctor reads it. Allergies first, then who can make decisions for you, then everything you take, then your conditions, surgeries and vaccines. You tick what goes in and we name anything you left out before you print it.
Because a doctor reading that list is looking for things that clash, and a supplement can clash with a medicine just as easily as another medicine can. The usual way a supplement gets missed is being on a separate list that nobody reads. Each row says whether it is a medicine or a supplement, so nothing is disguised, and a product's ingredients come with it. Your turmeric capsules arrive as turmeric and black pepper, not as a brand name.
No. We lay out what you take so somebody qualified can read it. We have no clinician reviewing these lists and we will not tell you a combination is safe or unsafe.
Soon. It is built. Your family's health history is treated differently by federal law from everything else in your record, so we would rather get the explanation you read beforehand right than ship it fast.
It is the person allowed to make medical decisions for you if you cannot make them yourself. Sometimes called a healthcare proxy. If you were unconscious in an emergency room, that is the first thing they would try to find out. Tick the box on that person in Your care team. Ticking it here does not create the legal document. It tells anyone reading your record who to call.
Because almost nobody has it to hand. It appears on the back of an insurance statement, which is a piece of paper people throw away. Your record does not need it.
Then put the year, or leave it blank. Every date in your health record takes a year on its own. Type 2014 and we record 2014, not a made up day in January. About 2014 works too.
Because it is read off the vial at the moment you get the injection, and the clinic that gave it keeps it. Six months later you have no way to find it. A box nobody can fill is not worth putting on a form.
Some vaccines are a course rather than one shot. Shingles is two doses and hepatitis B is three. If you told us you have had fewer than the full course, we say so on the card. It is a reminder to raise it with your doctor or pharmacist, not a warning. If you left the doses box blank we say nothing, because not knowing is not the same as not finishing.
Say you are not sure. That is one of the answers and we record it as one. There is no national vaccination register in this country, so nobody has a full list, not even the CDC. Your doctor would rather know you are unsure than find a blank, and getting a vaccine twice is safe.
You should not be. Go to Account, then Preferences, then What you do, and tick only the places and equipment you can actually get to. The activity library then stops showing you the rest. If you had already answered and still saw it, tell us, because that is a bug and not a setting.
No. There is a button on the library that shows everything, including what you cannot currently get to. We hide them by default and we never lock them away. People join gyms and buy bikes.
What you can get to is a hard filter. Nothing you have not ticked is ever suggested. The list itself has two toggles, Hide what I cannot get to and Show everything, including what I cannot get to, so you can always look at the rest. What you already do only changes the order, so things you do come first and everything else is still there. Somebody who has never lifted a weight should still be able to find their way to it.
No. There are three things that matter most after fifty: strength work, something that gets you breathing harder, and balance. If you have not ticked one, we say so once and offer an easy way in that you can actually reach. With no equipment at all, the way into strength work is standing up out of a chair without using your hands. You can ignore it.
You. Your Memios care team sees your data only with your separate consent to share. Nothing goes to a doctor unless you send it.
No. It is read on your device and saved straight to your private account.
Open Account → Your data → Download my data (JSON).
We count what gets used, and nothing about you. When a screen is opened or a button is pressed, we add one to a number. The number belongs to the button, not to a person.
The name of the button, what happened, the date, and a count. Four fields. No name, no account, no email, no time of day and no record of what you pressed before it.
To find what is too hard to use. If almost nobody adds a supplement, we would rather fix that screen than assume nobody takes supplements. We also count when the same button is pressed twice within a few seconds, because that usually means the first press looked like it did nothing.
No. Your weight, your food, your symptoms, your medicines and your health record are never part of it, and never travel with it.
There is no row with your name on it, because there is no name in a row. The counts are totals shared by every member. Noticing that one press followed another happens on your own phone and stays there.
